KiddiCorp (originally GoldBug) is a London-based company manufacturing and distributing innovative products for parents and children. It’s best known for parent assistance items like The Harness Buddy, Wow Cup and Hungry Caterpillar products. A change in company ownership was a good opportunity to build a new brand identity for the core company.
Changing the name and branding of an already well-known and established company needed careful planning and consideration. Branding workshops were undertaken to define and set in place brand values, customer profiling and strategy.
Following just three naming workshops, one name stood out from the great number generated, KiddiCorp. It felt too good to be true: there must be something wrong with it, it ticked too many boxes from the outset. After exploring various other options for comparison, KiddiCorp was the clear winner. It had all the attributes needed and looked and sounded great!
With the brand strategy and new name in place, the fun part could begun, the design stage. With such a great name and sector we weren’t short of inspiration – in fact, we had trouble cutting concepts before the client presentation. After many grueling hours debating, head scratching and design tweaking, a brand design was chosen and KiddiCorp was born.
